Mentoring Program

To build nursing and midwifery led research leaders.

What is the ANMCTN Mentoring Program?

The ANMCTN Mentoring Program aims to support mid-stage career researchers who are looking to progress their careers in an applied area of clinical studies as a nurse or midwife research leader.

The program consists of six individual 1-hour mentoring sessions over a period of six months and is targeted to encourage career development, knowledge exchange and leadership skills to support the transition from a Chief Investigator H (CIH) to a Chief Investigator A (CIA).

How to Apply for the Mentoring Program

We are currently facilitating a limited number of places for mentoring. Each application is carefully considered so we can make the best mentor match.

Our mentorship matches take place twice a year in May and November, however we are happy to receive your expression of interest to be mentored at any time.

The next round of mentoring matching will take place in November 2024.

Want to become a mentor?

We would also love to increase our number of mentors, so we can provide more opportunities for our mentees.

Mentoring offers many benefits to both mentor and mentee and is a very rewarding experience.
